Park Life is an independent retail store and art gallery based in San Francisco. Started in 2006 by Jamie Alexander and Derek Song, Park Life is located in the Inner Richmond in a turn-of-the-century commercial space.
Park Life’s roots lie in contemporary art and design, with a strong connection to the Bay Area’s Mission School art movement. Park Life specializes in working with artists to create Artist Editions, as well as showcasing artists in their gallery. Park Life’s connection to the Bay Area artist community includes long-time ties to institutions including: Creative Growth, Headlands Center for the Arts, The Luggage Store Gallery, SFAI, CCA, Arion Press, the SFMOMA, SOEX, and more. Park Life is a co-founder of the San Francisco Art Book Fair.
